If you think monstrosity covers too many unneccesary creatures it could be more specific and target monstrosities with swimming speeds

The kraken and other water based monsters are monstrosities while beholders and mindful flatters are aberrations. The only aberration you’d really encounter of the top of my head is an aboleth. Personally I think that censure the deep should affect monstrosities, not aberrations.
