I actually brewed this to handle Victorian obsession with mysticism for a steampunk campaign, but it works well for Ravenloft, etc.

Playing a phony fortune teller – in any setting, but especially Ravenloft – is signing up to unwittingly become a real fortune teller without warning and with maximum inconvenience, right?

Thanks Shawn!!! Nice idea to tweak the Charlatan. At a first glance it seemed that you were talking for an actual Fortune Teller, but this would be too powerful for Background.

This looks just fine and usable for CoS as is. Noted. 🙂
