That is pretty cool, sure. Very similar to what MTi discusses below. I might talk about Giants at some point as there is some interesting stuff there that doesn’t get much attention.

]]> By: Marandahir https://www.tribality.com/2016/08/31/get-to-know-the-azer/#comment-1683 Fri, 09 Sep 2016 02:41:00 +0000 http://www.tribality.com/?p=18041#comment-1683 I love the Azer backstory, and as an attempt to sort of meld the 4e take on Dwarves as elemental Giant-slaves, the various elemental dwarf things like Eisk Jaat and Galeb Duhr, and the traditional Azer backstory, I stole the Azer backstory and gave it to ALL Dwarves and Dwarf-like races, and made them all a sort of semi-construct race tracing a lineage of subcreation back to the All-Forger, while at the same time being forced into servitude by the reign of giants in ages past.

That sounds neat. I am using them as a counterpoint to the efreet in the AQ game I am running. There, they are mainly the group that built the wonders of the geomancer empire.

They are the caretakers and protectors of the Creation Forge, the forge that burns with the Flame of Life, part of which is within each Azer (and pretty much every living creature).
