I think this is ass-bakwards.

They very specifically PUNISH oathbreakers.

IIRC they are actually sometimes seen as handmaiden of Orcus “The punisher of broken oaths”.

To have they somehow SUPPORT oathbrakers instead of opposing them seems to completely mischaracterize them which would be a waste since there are so many cool adventures one can do while keeping their central ideas.
