I just got a set for Christmas myself and am starting to use them as story prompts for writing practice in much the same way you're describing here as well. I haven't thought to use them during play but was definitely planning on using them to create adventure ideas. Great article.

Hi Shawn,

Great article.

I am a big fan of Improv gaming, and have three of the smaller sets of Rory's Cubes. We have used them a couple of times in our game so far, with generally good results. I think the more generic set would be better.

I certainly want to push forward with using the Cubes a lot more.

All the best
