I often have a subset of What If encounters I set up for games. Just a short list consisting of one liners like &quot;witness an argument turn into a murder&quot; or &quot;someone is selling goods obviously from a guy you met earlier&quot; just in case players want to wander around and encounter stuff in towns. Those seem to provoke these situations more than any other. Players encounter something unexpected, they rush in to deal with it, realize they don&#039;t have the info or the entire party with them,..., profit.]]></description>
