I was right in one thing though, it will be the story Perkins has developed with Pedletton Ward from Adv.Time.

To be honest, I was hoping for something outside FR, maybe Dark Sun or Eberron. At least it will not be Sword Coast again, this is something.

The other major thing though is that they make FR the definite playground for 5e official adventures. I do not know how “Midway” (the Winter publication they have planned and it will most likely be the “extended players’ options book”) will be structured, but obviously they mean to use the Realms as much as they can. Well, the setting can in a great extent support that, but all settings have their limitations.

Finally, if the rumors are justified, then they mean to link their storylines; SKT was linked to ToD and PotA in order to create a “FR canon” through played adventures. Tomb of Horrors (featured in the recent TftYP) will have a connection with the new storyline and chances are to future storylines as well.

Anyhow, despite my reserved disappointment about the module being still in the Realms, I have a good feeling about this.
