My personal exposure to Erick Wujcik is limited to Shadow Knight, an expansion for Amber Diceless. I found it to be phenomenal advice for challenging even the surpassingly high-powered Amberites. Tracking down a copy, in the dark timeline we now live in, may require several knights of the Round Table and the healing of the Fisher King, or other still more difficult deeds.

I'm pretty interested in that Erick Wujcik plug and want to read more. Should I buy his RPG's to hear his thoughts, or does he have an article series out there somewhere?

A naga monk may have a lower starting AC than some other monks, but its natural weapons are stunningly overpowered when used by a monk. Its bite and constrict damage both scale thanks to Martial Arts.

1st-level monks are always fragile, but this monk at least gets a Con boost to mitigate that.

One thing I do like about the Naga is that its features don't overwhelmingly favour one class. The natural attacks do pair well with a Monk, but it doesn't get a boost to DEX or WIS. A level one Naga monk will be extremely fragile, with no more than a 14 AC.
