As usual, I find tables of these type are better for giving ideas and inspiration than they are for actually rolling on. I always like to give my characters elaborate backstories, as it helps me get a handle on how I'm going to play the character going forward. If I let myself be a slave to the tables, I'm needlessly restricting my imagination. But if the tables ask questions I rarely consider (how many siblings to you have?) or legitimize ideas that I might consider too crazy (like I'm actually a dragon trapped in humanoid form) then they're helpful.

For those who don't know, the makers of D&D Beyond have a pretty decent "Expanded Racial Feats" doc available on the DM's Guild that has one racial feat for each of the officially-released non-PHB races (i.e. the ones from Volo's, Elemental Evil, and Tortles.)

Well, it's a reaction, so they're probably spending it on someone else's turn - that makes it a second Sneak Attack within that round. I'm guessing that one big hit is going to be enough for the half-orc rogue to be standing and the enemy to be down a decent portion of the time, because that enemy will probably have already taken a few hits. (That is, even rogues don't usually get splattered super-early in a fight. Can happen, usually doesn't.)

Orcish Fury wouldn't actually help a rogue out terribly much outside of giving that one sneak attack per turn one more chance to land. Still handy though.

I just imagine it's a short little shout or prayer that causes the luck to transfer to their target. "Bingo, watch out!"

The Life Events are pretty well done, all in all, though I feel bad for anyone who has just one life event and rolls a 41-50 for it. I might argue that Weird Stuff should be a bit more than 1%-frequency weird, since you're talking about someone destined for a life of adventure (albeit possibly a short one).
