That was something sorely lacking in the PHB, I felt, so I’m glad they put it in Mordenkainen’s, even if it stretched the book’s theme a tiny bit (especially in the case of Gnomes and Halflings.)

The halfling and gnome chapter (ch. 5) is really great in my opinion. They spent tons of pages on providing ideas on how to play elves, dwarves, halfling and gnomes or all types.
