I thought I'd throw this on here...

I've been catching up on The Expanse season 2. If anyone ever wants to run a near future gme set in this solar system, steal from them. The writers of the books the show is based on were actually working on it originally to be a tabletop RPG, so the worldbuilding is very, very solid. Some people are starting to call it the Game of Thrones for space.

it has high gravity for its size due to the density of the planet, so overall yes its less than earth, but compared to planets/moons of the same diameter-its gravity is high

Mercury's gravity is 37.728% (lets just round that up to 38%) of Earth's.

Mercury = 3.7m/s^2 or 0.38g
Earth = 9.807m/s^2 or 1.0g

Very cool idea!
It's perfect for kick-starting novel setting development.

Forgive me, but I thought that the gravity of Mercury was substantially less than on Earth?
