Another personal story: A player in the campaign I&#039;m happily DMing the last couple of years has a knack: in EVERY game he plays he always has a pet (either familiar or companion or just...pet), preferably an owl. It goes without saying that I did not pose any kind of objection about that. The only thing is that the particular owl was much more than met the eye. So, the owl was actually the familiar to the BBEG (the particular PC&#039;s evil brother). So the BBEG monitored closely the PCs and was always one step ahead of them.]]></description>
