D&D Acquisitions Incorporated Book Available Today
An interesting book is out today, published via a partnership between D&D and Penny Arcade. This 10 year old relationship began back in 4th edition and pioneered people watching D&D being played by others. Over the years, DM Chris Perkins, Penny Arcade, and various guests including Wil Wheaton and Patrick Rothfuss brought D&D to the people in the form of podcasts, live play in front of an audience, and streams. These Acquisitions Inc. games combined D&D with an office comedy, a premise that seems to work for their many, many fans (including myself). This book gives you a chance to run your own game with your players creating their very own Acquisitions Incorporated franchise. My initial read through of the book is positive and there are lots of fun and interesting things to enjoy for fans and non-fans who can appreciate a lighter take on D&D. This book is not for everyone, especially those looking for the next serious tome from D&D.
