The Oni that ruined Jinglemas: A Tier 2 Christmas one-shot adventure
If you have been reading my Monthly Encounters for some time, you may recall Encounter #4: The Oni that Ruined Jinglenight. Some of those ideas stuck with me making me want to make an entire one-shot adventure out of that encounter. Here you can find more information about it:
The Oni that ruined Jinglemas
If you are looking for a new 4-6 hours Christmas adventure full of interactive environments, assembly lines, weird cannons, and weird toys that work in the same way magic items do, then you are in for a treat. In this adventure you need to rescue Barric Jingle, a dwarf kidnapped by an oni while traversing through his toy-making warehouse. Barric promised every kid in the region he would gift them toys in this special Jinglemas night. It’s your turn now as adventurers to help this event come to fruition!
The adventure features heavily the three pillars of play, making players feel hooked from the very beginning. It features a spooky theme mixed up with wacky Christmas fun to contrast it. It was created to be played with any Tier 2 (lvls 5-10) party from 3-6 players.
The adventure comes both in a Stylized and Simplified (and printer-friendly) version with alt-text describing images for accessibility purposes. Additionally, the adventure includes full-colored gridded and ungridded maps to easily use in your virtual game, as well as 5 pre-made lvl7 character sheets designed for a better experience playing the adventure.
