D&D Adventurers League – October Update

Just received the Adventurers League update for October 3rd, 2014 with news on DungeonScape, Expeditions Errata, & DCI Numbers.

While I glad to see some new information. I can’t believe they are saying that DungeonScape is acceptable at the Adventure League Tables.  That’s totally ridiculous.  I have the Beta invite, and it is not ready at all to be used in game.  There are too many bugs and some of them cause the character to be OP.

The good news that I saw is that they now have a centralized Errata sheet link that is on Google docs, where you can add errors that you find while running the adventures. The Expeditions Errata is nice, but not approved.  This probably means that it will never be “approved” and just rely on us to proofread their publications. I mean it’s not like one guy writing stuff in a blog.  They have a team of professional writers and editors.

About DCI Numbers: basically they are saying DCI numbers don’t really mean anything.  Just a tracking tool for stores, and homeplay doesn’t matter. Bleh.
