PAIZO ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH ROLL20: VIRTUAL TABLETOP COMING FOR PATHFINDER AND STARFINDER ROLEPLAYING GAMES

Pathfinder “Crownfall” pre-orders available today, much more to come in 2018

WICHITA, KS (2/27/2018): Roll20® and Paizo Inc. are pleased to unveil the official support of Pathfinder® and Starfinder® roleplaying games on the Roll20 virtual tabletop.

Pre-orders for Crownfall, the first volume launching the Pathfinder War for the Crown Adventure Path are available TODAY on Roll20. The Pathfinder Character Sheet will be available for early preview to Pro subscribers on March 6th and free for all subscribers on March 22nd. Thereafter, more Pathfinder War for the Crown volumes, monstrous Bestiary content, and Starfinder support will roll out in 2018.

“The Roll20 community has been vocal for years about wanting official Pathfinder support on our platform and we are very excited to start providing it,” said Nolan T. Jones, Managing Partner of Roll20. “The added benefit of getting to be part of the already successful first voyages of the Starfinder universe only makes this better.”

The Roll20 Virtual Tabletop provides a full suite of easy-to-use digital tools so players can build characters and run campaigns seamlessly through their web browser. With character sheet automation, simple click-to-roll attacks, and built-in video and voice communication, players can quickly craft stories as a group. Pre-made adventures and fully-integrated bestiaries allow Game Masters to run games with minimal setup, while effortlessly enjoying features such as dynamic lighting and advanced fog of war to build tension on what’s right around the corner… or creeping up from behind.

“I’m a huge fan of virtual tabletops and look forward to bringing the amazing stories and art of the Pathfinder and Starfinder games to Roll20,” said Jim Butler, VP of Marketing and Licensing for Paizo.
